Anatole Georjon
Master's Student, Sciences Po Lyon / Emlyon Business School | Intern, APIICC / CIRAD project: fieldwork in the United Kingdom (WP2 & WP3).
A student of international affairs at Sciences Po Lyon and emlyon business school, he spent a year studying abroad, specializing in environmental, energy, and development economics, developing a strong interest in climate and sustainability issues. At Sciences Po Lyon, this interest led him to write a thesis on conflicts related to lithium extraction in the Atacama region of Chile and Argentina, focusing particularly on natural resource governance. A subsequent internship with an environmental think tank, where he worked on fundraising and preparing project proposals alongside technical teams, further solidified his interest in field research. His connection to the UK also includes two volunteer experiences with the National Trust, an organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of natural heritage. He participated in the restoration of dry stone walls in the Lake District and the rehabilitation of locks in Lincolnshire. Within the APIICC project, he contributes to fieldwork carried out in the United Kingdom, both nationally and locally, under Work Packages (WP) 2 and 3.
