A forestry engineer, she graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP) and holds an advanced specialization in corporate sustainability and ESG from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). She is currently a master's student in environmental sciences at the University of São Paulo. Her research focuses on innovative financial architectures for climate change adaptation and deforestation prevention, as well as, more broadly, on zero-deforestation supply chains, climate governance, land-use policies, and monitoring and traceability systems in the Brazilian agri-food sector. Within the APIICC project, she contributes to the study of climate policy and governance instruments in Brazil, with a particular interest in the National Pasture Restoration Plan (Greenway), which aims to rehabilitate degraded pastures, and in Ecoinvest Brasil, a financial mechanism designed to mobilize investments for the ecological transition. She works as a sustainable finance specialist at Global Canopy, where she focuses on integrating the risks associated with deforestation and land-use change into financial decision-making. Her work involves collaborating with financial institutions and investors to strengthen the integration of environmental risk assessment into credit analysis, client engagement, and portfolio management, particularly in commodity supply chains linked to deforestation and ecosystem conversion.
