Marina Walder Galiano
PhD student, University of São Paulo (USP) | APIICC Project: fieldwork in Brazil and Mexico
A graduate in journalism from the State University of São Paulo “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP), she holds a master’s degree in sustainability from the postgraduate program in sustainability at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (USP) and is currently pursuing a doctorate in environmental sciences at the USP Institute of Energy and Environment. Her research focuses on environmental governance, climate change, agri-food systems, and public policies aimed at climate change adaptation and mitigation. She joined the APIICC project in January 2026 as a member of the Brazilian research team. Within the project, she contributes to the analysis of procedural instruments at the local and national levels.
