Nikoloz Kachakhidze

He is a Georgian graduate student in Strategic Public Management at Caucasus University and currently an exchange student at the National University of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA). His academic background lies in public administration, with a strong interest in governance, public sector reforms, and climate policy instruments. He is currently a research intern at CIRAD, where he contributes to the APIICC project. His work focuses on the implementation of a sustainable finance instrument, specifically the green taxonomy developed by the National Bank of Georgia, as well as a non-financial instrument—GECSA, a digital platform offering innovative agro-meteorological services. His research analyzes how global climate governance tools are operationalized at the local level, with a particular focus on banking practices, the integration of ESG criteria, and institutional adaptation. More broadly, his interests include artificial intelligence in public administration, climate governance, and public policy implementation mechanisms.
