Moussa Sall
Researcher, ISRA-BAME | APIICC Project: Fieldwork in Senegal (WP2 & WP3)
An agricultural economist and PhD in development studies, he is a research fellow at the Senegalese Institute for Agricultural Research (ISRA), within the Bureau of Macroeconomic Analysis (BAME), where he coordinates the Agricultural Policies and Socio-economics (PASE) program. With over twenty years of experience, his work focuses on agricultural policies, value chain economics, family farms, agroecology, and agricultural adaptation to climate change in West Africa. He worked at the Kolda Animal Science Research Center before joining BAME, where he served as a research engineer, senior technical officer, and then researcher. Author of several scientific publications, he also serves as an expert for national and international organizations. Within the APIICC project, he contributes to the scientific analysis of climate governance and agricultural adaptation in Senegal, through the study of financial and non-financial instruments supporting producer resilience. Its involvement aims to shed light on the conditions for more concerted climate governance, better linked to public policies and more adapted to the needs of local actors.
