Description
The C-CASA platform (Science-Policy Dialogue Platform for the Adaptation of Agriculture and Food Security to Climate Change) is a non-financial procedural instrument designed to strengthen the interface between research, public policy, and stakeholders in the field of agricultural adaptation to climate change. Based on a logic of consultation, dialogue, and sharing of climate information, it brings together public institutions, researchers, producer organizations, technical services, and development partners to promote better integration of scientific knowledge and local needs into adaptation and food security policies. The platform thus seeks to improve stakeholder coordination, facilitate access to climate information, and strengthen the consideration of agricultural vulnerabilities in public decision-making processes in Senegal.
